About Craig

Growing up on Long Island, the son of a pizza shop owner gave me an early understanding of customer service and business management. As a young father, I came to Maine in 1982 to serve four years in the United States Coast Guard. After the Coast Guard, my primary work was in Human Service positions. I completed my BS in Accounting at the University of Southern Maine in 1989 and pursued a career in nonprofit leadership.

In 1998 I transitioned to a leadership position at a small technology company. In 2007 I led the transition of this company into an ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan) in 2019 I retired as President.

Near the end of the pandemic, I invested in DaVinci’s, an Italian restaurant located in Lewiston Maine, with the idea of transitioning it from the founder to the next generation of leadership.

Since moving to Maine, I have served in leadership positions on numerous nonprofit and for-profit boards including: Ronald McDonald House Charities, National Multiple Sclerosis Society and Central Maine Health, a local hospital.
