Improvisation
Improvisation opens us to our choice-making potential in wondrous dialogue with all others. In this class, we will patiently drop into solo, duet, and group explorations, often negotiating consensual touch, and aspirationally reaching for states of dancing beyond any doubt. We will take time to enjoy intersubjective learning, develop malleability in our muscles, and discover alchemical strategies for dealing with creative blocks. We will make dances together, courageously composing in the moment, and then reflect on how we find meaning as an ensemble, and how we might continue to grow.
