Body Building Place

Onye Ozuzu

Where is your place?

Is it made?

Does it move?

Can you leave it?

This series of workshops will examine our experiences of place, home, land, domicile, migration as conditions of body.

And we will examine our capacity make place through dance.

As global conditions (weather events, wars, structural oppressions, the upheaval of social and political systems) continue to pressure and destabilize what it is to “be at home” in a geographic, or societal, or cultural, or spiritual, or embodied “place”…

…what agency to we have as artists of the body?

And what will we do with it?
